ABSTRACT:
Introduction: The nursing scope in modern nursing have done outstanding role in the world of medical science. Through this people are able to know this profession and made this profession very much respected in the society. The past decade has seen increased patient acuity and shortened lengths staff in hospitals. This has ultimately led to a reconsideration of how nursing staff manage their work. By exploring an understanding of how nursing work patterns were shifting in the face of changing patient acuity, patient profiles and nursing skill mix. A constructivist methodology, using critical incident technique (CIT) was used to explore nurses' role, so study was conducted. “A study to assess the effect of planned teaching programme regarding nursing scope among students studying in NavJagriti higher secondary school of Damoh (M.P.). Methodology: An evaluative research approach with one group pre-test, post-test design was used for the study. The sample was consisting of 60 students who are studying in higher secondary in Nav Jagriti school at Damoh. They were chosen by Non probability purposive sampling technique. Result: The present study Further to know the statistically significance between pre-test and post-test knowledge score ‘t’ test was computed The post test knowledge score (21.92) of student nurses were found to be significantly higher than there mean pre test knowledge score (6.08) These suggested the effectiveness of planned teaching program me in increasing the knowledge of students regarding nursing scope. Conclusion: It is statistically proved and concluded that the planned teaching program me on knowledge regarding Nursing scope, is highly effective for improving the knowledge score of students studying in higher secondary school.
