ABSTRACT:
Selfie addiction refers to the addiction and describes through a chain of reactions. Selfie addiction starts from taking our own photographs (selfies) and investing those selfies on social Networking sites and then waiting for their friend comments to those photos. This study shows the level of selfie addition among IV year B.SC[N] students. A quantitative research approach was used for the study. The study was conducted among 30 IV year B.SC[N] students in P.S. College of Nursing, Thalakulam, Kanyakumari District. Griffiths selfie addiction scale was used to assess the level of selfie addiction among 1V year B.S[N] students. Data were analysed by descriptive statistics. The result shows that there is a 33% of students were in borderline stage of selfie addiction, 57% of students were in acute stage of selfie addiction and 10% of students were in chronic stage of selfie addiction. The study reveals that 17% of males are affected and 83% of females.
