ABSTRACT:
A descriptive study was conducted to assess the knowledge questionnaire regarding human rights and legal responsibilities of mentally ill among students. Data was collected by administering structured knowledge questionnaire regarding human rights and legal responsibilities of mentally ill. The study was conducted at JSS College of Nursing, JSS School of Nursing, Mysuru among 60 III year BSc nursing and GNM III year students who were selected by using non probability convenience sampling technique. The study result revealed that 70% of nursing students had average knowledge, 21.6% had poor knowledge and 8.4% had good knowledge among students.
