ABSTRACT:
Water birth, an alternative approach to labor and delivery, has captured the attention of expectant parents seeking a gentler and more comfortable birthing experience. This review synthesizes existing literature on water birth, exploring its potential benefits and addressing pertinent considerations. We delve into maternal and neonatal outcomes, safety concerns, and the psychological dimensions of this birthing method. Our analysis aims to provide a comprehensive overview, empowering healthcare professionals and prospective parents to make informed decisions about incorporating water birth into their birthing plans.
