ABSTRACT:
We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves. Buddha “You can bring into your life more power, more wealth, more health, more happiness, and more joy by learning to contact and release the hidden power of your subconscious mind” Definition Guided imagery is the use of relaxation and mental visualization to improve mood and/or physical well-being. Purpose Positive mental imagery can promote relaxation and reduce stress, improve mood, control high blood pressure, alleviate pain, boost immune system, and lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels. One of the biggest benefits of using guided imagery as a therapeutic tool is its availability and equal opportunity. Imagery can be used virtually anywhere, anytime. Guided imagery also gives individuals a sense of empowerment, or control.
